I bought the same pants for my great grandson to wear to the private school he attends. He's 5. He has a very small waist, but he's growing like weeds. In fact, many people confirm that he is tall for his age of five. The A in jeans is too short in the inseam, so at the school's recommendation, we bought school uniform clothes from a vendor in Memphis. Immediately after purchase, the product was not suitable for my great-grandson. We bought french toast pants size 6 PN9405. I raised the waist with elastic bands on both sides to fit his waist size. The waist was still too small. Thinking these garments were not pre-shrunk, I washed them in cold water on a low heat. Oops! Guilty! These pants have actually shrunk to a size 4 in the leg and a size 5.5 in the waist. Only a very obese person aged 4 could wear these pants after washing. I urge all parents to stay away from this brand of pants. This mark is useless. David Ward
