The smaller multiple plug is good, no complaints. The big one confuses me in terms of design. The plug that goes into the wall is at the bottom of the unit, which means all the weight of the adapter and plug is pushing it down while nothing is holding it up except the part that connects to the wall. It will constantly stick out of the socket enough to switch off completely. I think if you really have proper sockets this will do, but I don't. If the design was reversed so the part that connects to the wall was UP, then this would be a great option. So I can not really recommend the two packages. I ended up having to use a short extension cord and attach the device to the table leg with Velcro. Functionally it works as expected, but this extra step is an unnecessary hassle.
