So, to start, this was somewhat easy to put together - as long as you make sure the backs are all facing the same way. There are screw holes on one side of the flat ends. The first time I put it together, I found I messed up. Fortunately, it is easy to unscrew and start over.Once together, it is pretty stable and will hold a lot of paper or magazines, while looking good.
