It would be even better if they were a bit thicker or stronger. I fill them with resin. Thus, once cured, the resin gives the stand extra strength and durability. He's more solid. Without resin they would fall apart fairly easily when they got wet. I glue the bottom when I glue the top. What frustrated me at first was that no matter what tape I used, it peeled the bottom layer of the stand off of it. But since I put a self-adhesive stopper underneath, it doesn't bother me anymore. I recommend using with resin. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else unless it goes thicker/sturdier.
