I recently purchased Purina Beyond Grain Free canned cat food (specific items purchased are listed at the bottom of the review). My older 19 year old cat developed gastrointestinal problems. I found bright red blood in his stool. He began to vomit clear liquid with bright red blood. He became lethargic and wasn't himself anymore. I literally thought I had to put him to sleep. He's only been eating for less than a week. I immediately removed the food, switched to canned IAMS Senior, and mixed in psyllium husk to solve his stomach problems. He has since recovered and is a normal person again.
