Review on Acer VG240Y Bmiix FREESYNC Technology 23.8", 1920X1080P, 75Hz, Frameless, HD, HDMI by James Rayborn

When I got it a month ago I had signal issues when I got it with my MSI laptop and also thought it was fake advertised as G-Sync compatible as it has AMD Free Sync Premium. I couldn't try G Sync from my laptop, so I made that assumption. Guess I was wrong. I have a used PC with an Nvidia graphics card that is G Sync compatible and also has AMD Free Sync Premium and there are no signal issues. I think it was just my laptop. Speakers are ok. But I also got an MSI VG273 monitor for the same price and it has a lot more options and settings than this one. Compared to the MSI VG273, this screen also did not cause any eye irritation as it is certified for eye protection. Definitely the best choice when you compare it to MSI in terms of display quality, graphics and setting options. Returned msi and saved this. Very happy and satisfied with the purchase. Also the price of 165 Hz can not be higher!
