Some don't like their PU leather ie urethane as opposed to cowhide or any other type of genuine leather but let me tell you give them a try. I've had many pairs of gloves over my ears, and when worn in cold, wet weather, they all had one thing in common: hands eventually got cold and wet. I don't care what the claim is, put it on a shovel or out of the car and your hands get wet, plain and simple, leather isn't waterproof. You know what's pretty much waterproof, those faux leather gloves. I can clear snow and ice from my car, shovel or drive a snow blower and my hands stay dry and protected from the cold. a fist to grab something but feels good when you relax your hand and they are very comfortable. I hate thick gloves or smooth gloves that don't stick to the steering wheel and that's no problem, the material sticks to the steering wheel of the car, not sticky but nice and easy to grip. They do everything you would expect from a pair of gloves that cost a little more. My only complaint, and it was MY fault, is that I bought the dark brown ones without reading the description, not the black ones I was thinking. d is selected. At this price and how good they are, I'll just buy another set in black and have both, they're that good.
