Contains 8 soap bases, individually wrapped at 1 lb. They are of very good quality and very easy to use! I just cube them in about 1" and melt them on the stovetop in a saucepan over low heat (directions say to add in the microwave and stir, but I feel like I have more control over the stovetop I have - just a personal preference). I'm new to soap making and wanted something - something that would give me the opportunity to try lots of soap bases without having to spend a lot of money and buy lots of products. The silicone sheet mold is very cute too! The molds are a little smaller than I expected but not too small.I use half of the base block at a time and can fill in about 8 sheets.I haven't tried all the bases but so far my favorite is shea butter,it's very moisturizing,has a great light and pleasant scent and holds the scents I add very well.Every time I use shea butter my girlfriend says I smell great all day long! mt I like it very much and I plan to buy another set with other bases!
