We had a Bumbo and my baby loved to sit in it but my burly little girl outgrew it quickly. We should have just bought a bebepod, they are very similar, but the bebepod is definitely better. The main difference we were looking for is that the Bebepod has wider leg openings. She outgrew a bumbo at 4 months, but at 14 months she can still carry a bebepod. The Bebepod also comes with straps to attach it to a chair for use as a high chair. The tray is easy to attach and remove. My daughter loves playing with the toy attached to her. My only minor complaint is the dish mat. The watermelon is very cute, but after washing it with a sponge, it is very faded. It also dries out curved rather than flat, making it difficult to lay flat when placed in a tray. My daughter sees this hole and immediately tries to pick it up by dropping food off the tray. I just wouldn't use a stand but there is a hole in the tray where the toy is placed and food gets stuck in that hole making it difficult to clean. Since she has already learned to sit, and this is not the best "high chair", we have finally given up on this high chair. But overall this is a good chair for keeping your little one in a safe place while he learns to sit.
