This set of 2 pot handles is on my must have list for Instant Pot. I've used this many times to take the pans out of the IP main bowl (cook the pot in a pot) or even remove the IP bowl while it's hot. Some recipes require immediate removal after a quick release because you need to prevent food from being overcooked. I've also used it to remove various wire racks. In short, this is a very useful trick and pretty much a necessity because I don't know how else to get pots. This is probably better than the "aluminum hammock" method because you can squeeze the handles together and use both to balance an item like a heavy main pot with food inside. I can also imagine this could be used for other purposes in the kitchen, such as removing lids from pans that are very hot from the stove or oven. However, this is not a perfect product. I would call it "the best there is" rather than the best product. The handles are slightly curved, so you can usually only align them one way with the pan you're moving. It may take a minute to determine the best recording method. If you don't do it right, or if you can't get a good grip, the pot you're moving will fall off and be scattered everywhere. (It hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm afraid it will.) I think the curve is useful because your pots are curved, but that just makes it a little awkward. Also, the clutch itself isn't the greatest. The rubber parts inside the metal are not attached very well. I would not use this product to transport hot pots of food very far - just from the IP to my stove or sink. All in all, it's probably a pretty cheap product (which reflects the price), but I don't know of a better one. My order came with 1 black and 1 blue handle. They have a small metal ring at the bottom to keep the handles closed for easy storage.
