Review on Adjusting Eyeglasses Spectacle Assembling Repairing by Mary Beauchene

Had eye surgery recently and got new glasses. After four trips back to get fitted, I decided to get these nose pliers to fit my glasses myself. Reviews were great and delivery was next day on Sunday. Big. I take them to work and get these glasses right. When I opened the package and pulled out the tongs, I noticed that they were very hard. I tried playing around with them a bit and found that they only hang in one area. Where two joined halves of tongs meet. They got stuck. Upon further examination at the tips, I noticed that the part that grips the nose on the spiral side was cut off in the middle and bent. There were ridges on both sides. There was a protrusion on the flat side that if I used it would push out the silicone gasket. Where the wand is, all four edges were extremely sharp. To make these glasses, I spent 20 minutes using precision files and aligning them to a reasonably handy pair of pliers. Not very pretty, but at least functional enough to make adjustments. Why didn't I just return them? I really wanted to try making my glasses and they were here. I'm lucky that I was able to harness them. I cannot recommend them to anyone.
