I've used them on metal doors so I can't vouch for their hold, but the fact that they're included and you have two ways to attach them is very good. The magnets are strong, they stay where you put them and won't slip or move even if you slide the lid back and forth. The lid moves smoothly, not touching or sticking anywhere. The signs are bright and well printed so you can tell from a distance if the bathroom is occupied or not. Nothing more to say, they work great and are cheaper than many other similar magnetic signs on this site so I'm very happy with them.
