This training method changed my dog overnight! Highly recommended! A dog training course used this brand, but a model with less static stimulation. I tested the lower static stimulation model on my neck and it didn't hit hard. It was more of a vibration shock (if that makes sense), it's a lower frequency. However, this collar is easy to use, I tested it on my neck with the same setting of 10 and it really hurts, especially if you do it multiple times in a row. It's a tingle, like a real shock compared to what my dog trainer used. They all have different vibration settings that are enough to stimulate my dog. So for those of you looking for a really low level of shock that feels like a vibration or a real vibration setting, get the MICRO model. It is designed for smaller dogs, but the receiver is the same size without a strong electric shock. Personally, I would always test any type of collar on your own neck before using it on your animal so you know what it's like, because during training you don't just get stimulated once and then done. This is multiple times in the same place, which can hurt.
