I've had this phone for about a week and I really like it. This is exactly what I was looking for - an inexpensive corded desk phone. It was easy to set up and works great. I keep the cordless handset in the same room as the base so reception is excellent. It's a very basic phone, but it lacks some handy features: you can't connect a headset to the base (although it does have speakerphone functionality). . The cordless handset doesn't have a speakerphone (although you can use a headset). There are a total of 10 speed dial numbers. For your information: During a power failure, you can use the base handset, but the speakerphone, answering machine and all other functions are disabled.
