no pressure! on model 790 the ring is too thick
, Ordered these for my XL pressure cooker as my original O-ring no longer allows my unit to reach pressure. they are a bit thicker than the original and don't put any pressure on my device. did some water pressure testing on both rings and even put them in the dishwasher to try and wear them down a bit. vain. I ended up "borrowing" my mother's ring to make sure it wasn't a device. those are rings! I have the model 790!
