Installation took less than 10 minutes including adding the switch. Provides nutrition properly. I'm not sure about the weather resistance as I only ride dry. I decided to wire it directly to the battery and put an illuminated switch on the steering wheel so I know when it's on. I highly recommend doing this or plugging it into a switched power source like your running lights. This will eventually destroy your battery even if nothing is connected. I chose the switch because I wanted it to have its own dedicated power line and be able to add more things to switch. Most of the accessory cables on my bike are very flimsy and I didn't want to beef them up for the main power supply so I added a switch. If you're going down this route, I recommend a switch with some sort of backlight so it's immediately apparent that you left it on.
