I have tried various center speakers in the past to try to balance the sound quality of my center channel and so far have found all efforts to be insufficient - mainly in their ability to reproduce the human voice. The voice sounded either muffled and square, or amplified mechanically and unnaturally, and at the limit of any speaker's range. I use Klipsch speakers throughout my 7.1 system, including two large Klipsch speakers for Atmos. While my Klpsch R34c center channel was adequate, like others, including the very good Martin Logan Motion m8i, it simply failed to capture the full range of the human voice as naturally as I would like. I went to Revain at an audio visual store that stocked a full line of Klisch speakers and found a Klipsch R52c at a great price with fast shipping. With two decent 5.2" midrange drivers and a 1" tweeter, I thought this combination had depth and highs. Frequency range to naturally balance the full range I was looking for. Eureka, almost. The R52c has proven to be a great addition to my home theater audio system. The sound is crisp, clear, lag-free, natural, and full, but like many other center channels, it doesn't capture female voices well. However, I recommend the R52c with one caveat. I ended up going back to my R34c as it was doing a little better.
