This camera system works well. I installed mine by connecting the reverse light wire. The hardest part of the installation is routing the cables from the dash to the camera itself. If you're inexperienced in removing interior panels to route those cables, you might want to look at a wireless camera. Again, this can be a problem if you don't have access to an outlet near your license plate. I recommend caulking the RCA and power connections. If they get wet or are pulled, you will lose the video. To mount the monitor I used a magnetic AC vent mount. Considering the cost of this system, if you can install it yourself this is a pretty decent camera. How it holds up in the long term remains to be seen. The only thing I want is a beep to let you know something is close to the camera.
