I needed something that would hopefully heat up like my Dad used to get in his semi. I only found garbage. I bought this, Yes- it's pink not red. I read the reviews and expected a pinkish blanket, whatever. It was cheap. It plugs in and in about 3-5 mins you can program this to heat up to 150 degrees F. Hot AF and my car hasn't burned down, I haven't melted nor has my blanket. I do turn it down and use this like an electric blanket on longer drives now. So nice to have this! Make sure to remember to unplug it each time.
