Review on White Garmin Fenix 6S NFC Smart Watch by Vinay Upadia ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

The feeling is pleasant. A watch for a thin wrist and even the strap is short as it should. The strap is good quality and fits perfectly. What I didn't like: Absolutely inconvenient and intuitively clear interface to which I could not get used to in 3 weeks both in the watch and in the application. As it turned out, the clock correctly showed the time (24 hours), but they did not know at all that the metric system was in 2022. You can set the unit only in the clock in the application, there is no such setting. It is not possible to quickly start a workout. On a normal watch, this happens in 2 seconds right there, although there is a quick button (completely inconvenient), so you also need to scroll to the desired one and then start and understand that nothing has started. The workout auto-detect doesn't work at all. I'm not completely sure about the correctness of the pulse count. Instead of a touch screen, they gave 5 tight buttons! This is the height of bullying. They advertise autonomy. Compared to Samsung, the active is really better. But I have small thin light gtr42s that live 35 days with notifications turned on, training 2 times a week, and these last 7-9 days at most. You can pay for hours, everything seems to be fine, but first you need to enter the code using tight buttons, sorting through the numbers - you don’t want to use this function at all, especially knowing that hackers hacked their system once, and they (Garmin) just paid a ransom. The price is cosmic - in the office store these cost 54 ordered on eBay for 36 with delivery and customs fees. And even so - very expensive. All in all, I won't recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship, contactless payment
Cons
  • 1 price, 2 autonomy, 3 interface, 4 buttons, 5 screen
