I bought this specifically for use on my oil pickup truck. During operation, the truck emits oil fumes that condense in the cab, I don't inhale them in the cab, but it all matters. Having been using this device for a few weeks now I can say that it removes oil fumes/smoke/odours effectively. I get through the filters quickly as my original goes dark quickly, but it works harder than it was intended to. BTW I forgot to turn it off a couple of times and it ran all night and the truck started fine, but it also has two batteries.
