Review on NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs Set (4pcs) Stock 7751 - Nickel Core - Standard 0.044in Tip ILZKR7B11 by Mike Wheeler

Bought 6 of these because they were cheaper than Autozone. Not sure what the offer is but the plugs I received were defective. I installed it in my wife's car and it immediately started misfiring and the check engine light came on. The NGK website says they are rated for 5000 ohms. The two I pulled were at 2600 and 3000, way below specs. I had to go to Autozone to buy two new ones to get the car running. A few days later my wife is driving and sends me a picture of her dashboard with the check engine light on and says it shakes at idle and almost dies. I find it's a different 2800 ohm spark plug. At that point I went to Autozone and bought four more and changed them all. Overall, only one of the spark plugs was measured within the tolerance of the NGK specification. So 5/6 weren't good out of the box. In a nutshell. Don't buy this junk, just spend your money at the auto store and get rid of the headache.
