Just right! Albeit a little thinner than expected. I've bought under the dresses and over her leotard so it's perfect, they're thin, stretchy, it's just that you can see through them so you can't wear them just as top shorts over underwear if you no underwear wants daughter could be looked through all the way, no matter what color. Overall they work for what I need! :0)
