Connecting devices is easy. The USB connection cable is very short, but I was able to use it with my HP 2300 without an extension cable. The device itself is about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and the thin power cord was long enough to reach the floor. It fits in the cavity of a 2300 sized port, but the super short pigtail might be a problem for others. I was expecting to set it up like any other network printer, but it was pretty clear that you had to run the included installer. Setting up the first computer was easy enough, but the second and third required a lot of effort. Not only did the installer not work, it also messed up my homegroup settings. I ended up putting everything back and it worked, but I wasn't happy with the experience or the time wasted. I have been working in IT for over 30 years. The problems I encountered weren't due to a lack of skills or poorly configured networks or workstations. Now for your favorite callus. TP-LINK is a big company. The US is a big market. For heaven's sake, spend a few bucks to hire a native English speaker to review and correct your documentation and tooltips on your applications! It is often difficult for users to decide which of several possible interpretations of your statements is correct. It also leaves the customer with the overwhelming feeling that your product is made cheaply by people who don't care about quality. Ever since I set it up, it's been working fine. We don't use the printer that often, but I think it speaks well for a print server that's used infrequently and doesn't shut down between uses.
