small and simple; ideal for occasional scans

This is the perfect scanner when you need something that doesn't take up a lot of space and you don't have to scan a lot of things. It works on both Windows (I tested Windows 7) and Linux (I tested Debian). I've used it for text and handwritten documents, images and cards (e.g. business cards, library card). It comes with a plastic cover so you can scan irregularly shaped objects or with a pencil. automatic feeder)
