First of all, this is NOT a hammock. It's all plastic except for two ultra-thin "covers" that come with the kit. My middp took them off within a few hours. It took me a few minutes to put this together, but it's pretty easy if you have some common sense. I have 3 cats (11.5 year old, 9 month old and 4 month old) who love this thing, they are all fairly lean and 1 my average friend weighs about 11 pounds of pure muscle. The kittens run and fly over it and pummel each other from different levels while my older one hides on it from the other two while they are elsewhere. Rschunimagu. I often check suction cups to make sure they are reliable. I only saw 1 free one which was an easy fix. I just pushed it against the window and BAM hasn't had any issues since. It's been a few months now and I have to say it's not the prettiest but I'm very happy with it and so are my boys. I will buy more once I move to a bigger room with more windows.
