This door guard worked well and gave my Rogue a custom look. Parked in a two car garage when you open the door next to my truck it gets crowded. I have now bought a second set for my white truck. Installation was easy if you just remember a few things.1. Tools: Rubber mallet, electric side cutters, needle nose pliers, tape and a small tube of whitewash.2. You need to remove the first and last metal tab with pliers. This metal tab will rust over time, it is not stainless steel. I used Big Stretch Clear Sealant to seal the ends. Hold them with tape until the lime settles, 24 to 36 hours should be enough.3. DO NOT use pliers to squeeze the door protector as this will distort the smooth surface and you may scratch the car's clear coat. I've found that a rubber mallet works best to install a door guard without too much pressure. Practice in a less visible area, the protector can be removed but is not recommended as it is now molded to the edge of your vehicle and may not be secure when reinstalled. on very safe.Btog
