Just traded in my gateway (router) for the latest Xfi in the Comcast store. Had to go back to return the old one and while there I asked for an extra length of coax to extend the existing cable running through the wall. Wanted to place the gateway in a more open area than it was. When I got home and unwound the extra cable, I found that it had pin ends on either side. uhh! Couldn't use it (the existing cord has a plug). Instead of going back to Comcast, ordered these female cable glands! TA DAH. Problem solved, simple solution at a great price!
