Recently I was on a campaign against the excessive use of plastic (BPA-free containers, plastic cups, etc.). am honored to move away from Brita and other similar products. The ideal filter for me would be -1. Eliminate water additives that Brita just couldn't. Improve the taste of water 3. Easy to use4. They have a longer service life and do not require regular replacement of parts5. Does not affect water flow/pressure6. Do you have a filter material that does not affect the taste of the water / is not a breeding ground for germs7. Cheap in the long run per liter of water After reading about the various options, CuZn seemed to tick all the boxes. I placed an order and on a weekend afternoon installed it with a wrench and tape. It was easy to install. After a few days of use, the water tasted the promised quality. I have postponed the test to ensure it continues to work. and so it is. A few weeks in the water still tastes good. I ordered some glass bottles and now, between bottles and water, I think I've achieved all my goals with this little adventure. (Photos show bottled water now against the original drain where there was some residue as the water entered through the expected medium)
