I ran in college and bought these shoes because I was looking for extra support to stop pronation (inward rotation of the foot). After 2 runs and about 12-15 miles in them these shoes feel great. Tough to the touch but at the same time comfortable and also a very stable walking platform. The toe box is probably as standard as most running shoes, but nothing to worry about for those with a large forefoot. My pinky usually tears holes in my boots, but I feel good in them. The padded tongue is a nice bonus as most shoes these days go without plush tongues and for those with tendonitis on the top of their feet I applaud Mizuno. Although I haven't run many miles yet, I already feel like my foot has adjusted to it and I look forward to many more runs in these shoes.
