Not for storing small items
I bought it to store beads (for jewelry making). I love the fact that I can remove some of the plastic mesh "walls" to make larger sections, but my beads keep slipping under these removable walls and mixing up the beads. Aggravating. So if you want to store small beads, I recommend getting a container with solid/permanent mesh walls. Otherwise, if you keep larger items in each section of the grid, they should remain nested.
