My problem with gripper socks is that they are either so low-cut that they slip off while you walk/work out or they end half-way up your calf. These fit nicely around the ankle. They're soft and gripped well as I tested them on my linoleum floor. I will buy more.I wear an 11.5 women's shoe (men's 9.5 or 10 depending on the conversion chart you use) and the Large/X-Large just fits. If your foot is more than a full-size larger than that, I don't think they would fit well.
