Fixed: I will be returning this item as it is very difficult to carry the phone. This puts a lot of strain on the phone. My Moto z3 Play Phone with Bumper is 3.25 inches wide. The description says it opens up to 3.5 inches. This holder fits narrower phones. The following observations apply to the Moto Z Play phone. It holds the phone very firmly, my phone can't accidentally fall out of the case. Put your phone in the case and take it off. This is a two-hand operation. The spring tension must be adjustable. It's so tight it would rip my pants if I tried to pull it off with one hand. :)
