Installed 100% hassle-free. No surprises, but very noisy.

Loud distinct hum (not mechanical grinding) some sort of noise clearly audible over the idle motor. Haven't tested it on the road yet, just pulled in and out of the driveway a few times to test the intermittent action because (holy cow!) it's raining here in San Diego. Speed and latency seem to be working as they should. The noise is annoying but I'm retired and rarely have to drive in the rare rain that does occur here so I'll live with it. Other than that, I'm happy with this purchase.
