I got this router after upgrading my internet service to 1GB as I was working from home and needed a reliable internet connection. My internet service is connected through my building for 1GB. I got this router after being told my current router didn't support 1GB so I bought this one. Installation was very easy. But even after going into the settings, my WiFi connection was HORRIBLE. My direct wired connection gave me 900mg of download while my wifi with this router reduced it to 100-150mb! So it didn't even make a difference between this router and my old one which wasn't even 1GB capable. I switched from an AC 1750 to a TP-Link router and now I get the same result from my router as when plugged directly into the wall. My ISP has told me that they offer to buy a router with 1GB bandwidth and at least 1650 AC. Don't take less and don't buy this router for 1GB services!
