After reading negative reviews about the previous AW100 model, I decided to take the next AW110 model, as I was an ardent fan of Nikon! I have been using Nikon DSLRs for over 15 but it didn’t! )) For all the time I shot no more than 100 drop! I took the camera as an auxiliary to the SLR, only for a vacation in Egypt in 2022 I studied the instructions, carefully checked everything, used it very carefully, immersed it in water by a maximum of 50 cm, but on the third day the camera failed! The screen stopped working in photo, view and settings mode, I handed it over to the service, which sent the camera to Hong Kong and, surprisingly, they did not refuse warranty repairs, )) I didn’ in May, I didn’t immerse the camera in water, in the worst case it got splashed, but a miracle didn’t happen, the camera failed after a few frames! It just stopped turning on! I dried it open the battery pack, looked through all the details under a magnifying gl, the battery, contacts, rubber bands, there was not even a hint of moisture or salt! Upon returning, they again sent it to the Nikon service center in Hong Kong, after a while they called back, they refused warranty repairs, due to water getting inside! This is actually the standard Nikon official service center excuse to refuse a repair! I called the Hong Kong service! It’s useless to prove something, the technician, like the , repeats only one thing, water got inside, your fault and that’s it, and this is in a super-camera, which is designed to dive to 18 meters and fall from 2 meters! )) I’m sure they will repeat too the most, even if you didn’t approach the water, LOTTERY! )) Now the next model AW120 has come out, I think nothing has changed! Not a good model! Do not take Nikon underwater soap dishes! Be patient! Check out other manufacturers!
