FOR THE FIRST TIME this set is complete! These tools helped! I made fig jam. I've never canned anything, but I looked up a few YouTubes to see how my grandmother used to make it. This summer I tossed figs from our fig tree in a bag in the freezer until I found time to store them. Canned figs are GREAT, found the maple fig jam recipe on Pinterest. I couldn't be happier with the result. I was happy to have a funnel, tongs for lowering and raising jars of boiling water, a bubble remover/gauge for filling desired headspace and also for stirring the bottom of the jars to remove air bubbles, and a magnet lifter for pulling sterilized lids from hot water. I saved it in my tin can for my next canning project! VERY HAPPY with this tool kit.
