Review on πŸ”΅ Blue Filter Housings for Housing Brackets by Juzer Rashid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good mount - beware of old lead and solder joints on copper tubing (new limit is 0.25% lead which is still lead free)

This mount will not work with other manufacturers filter housings. Sizes are shown in my pictures. FYI, I think the part is in metric units. The small holes appear to be 1 cm in diameter and the large holes appear to be 2 cm in diameter. There is a longer side and a shorter side. The metal is about .110" thick with white paint. It's (my best guess) 12 gauge sheet metal. I measured the thickness with a digital micrometer from a popular import tool store. I love clean water. old solder joints that go to joints leads that contain only 0.25% lead, or better yet, I can just switch to PEX as it seems to work if I keep it out of sunlight in my basement. ) is the primary authority for the claim that plumbing parts are lead free Lead free means 0.25% lead or less Pre 1991 contained solder or similar contains 50% lead in tubing New solder and parts have 0.25% lead Lead limit Plan to cut out all welds and the lower ones Replace connections with lead and some new copper or just redo the plumbing with PEX so my filter doesn't purify the water making it dirty again Looks like 0.5 filter micro meters are the ones who take the lead.
