I'm a tall guy, 5ft 10", £265 and have tried to walk a couple of times. Each time my knees couldn't stand it, otherwise I would get a cleft shin. I've seen them rated highly on several launch sites and should be good for heavy runners so given the price I thought it was worth a try. Wow, is it worth it? I'm in my second week on the Couch 2 5K and I've never been this relatively pain free after a run. It's like magic! If you're looking for a pair of running shoes and you're overweight, give them a shot!
