Beautiful set for free-form creativity

This is like a psychedelic version of the original Colorforms set that was re-issued by the Museum of Modern Art a while back. I have that set (photo) so, of course, getting this was a no-brainer.This is a really fun set. Where the original set were simple shapes in primary colors plus green and white, this set takes off with added shapes, brighter colors and multi-colored shapes. I think this is a wonderful improvement that has the potential to inspire so much more creativity.I also like that the shapes comes on individual sheets rather than in the spiral-bound book of the original set. It's mush easier to work with sheets that you can see all at once. The one thing I miss, though, are the flat black and white panels to make the art on. This set only has a black panel and it is part of a raised platform. The flat panels could be easily displayed once an artwork was finished. If you have the original set, you can of course use the black and white panels. If not, you can still display your art but a bit awkwardly. This is also a beautiful collector's set. It's really lovely to see Colorforms updated in this way.
