I put this cord cover to protect some cords from the vacuum cleaner. The lid, while protective, can be easily moved by people walking on it, so I have to reposition it from time to time. However, I don't want anything glued to the floor, so I'm happy with what I have. Installation was easy, it came rolled up but unfolded easily and the wire slid easily into its cavity. I cut it to the right length with scissors - no problem!
