Terrible thing, not as advertised. After working for a few days I noticed that the paste on one of my chips looked like it had melted a bit. A picture with a pea-sized amount - with Antec Paste. I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop and decided to redo the factory thermal paste. I did it using the pea drop method. My temperature went from 76ยฐC to 98ยฐC! I even lowered the CPU voltage with the Intel XTU and lowered the power for the turbo. I decided to leave the laptop idle for 20 hours to allow the paste to cure. No luck, it still overheated. I then redid the chips one more time using an old 2011 Antec Nano Diamond paste. The maximum temperature is now 76ยฐC when running Quest VR from Virtual Desktop only on a 1050 graphics card (non-TI). It twitched when overheated, but now it works smoothly.
