Here’s the thing. I had a thicker anti-fatigue mat that did a great job. But as much as I would prefer not to admit it, as I have gotten older, I tend to trip on things more and I was always catching my feet on the thick mat. This one is perfect. It provides enough cushion to add comfort, but thin enough that I am less likely to break my neck. It is also nice to have the set of two in a design that looks good.
