To get rid of this I know chinchillas are known wood destroyers so I knew it wouldn't take forever. However, I didn't think it would last less than a day. First, the pieces weren't cut correctly, so it was very difficult for me to put them together. This isn't my first building materials rodeo, my whole house is furnished with Ikea stuff and I have some experience with wood. I understand it's cheap, but it's so cheap it cracked a bit when I put it together because the pieces were so uneven. After I managed to assemble it I gave it to my chinchilla and within a few hours it split the two parts in half. It's not as destructive as any of its kind, but I figured a product designed for a creature like this might at least last a while. nope spent my money I suspect the light at the end of the tunnel is that he had an oddly shaped fun chew toy until he inevitably destroyed it.
