I bought these phones last fall they are fine but the answering machine hasn't worked for a few months. I kept trying to reprogram it, but it worked. Phone quality is so-so. Not bad, but I use my cell phone when I want to improve reception. The caller ID works great, which is good since I no longer have an answering machine. If you're trying to multitask and hold the phone with one shoulder and one chin for a moment, press the "off" button and position yourself to hang up the other person.
