Review on ⚡ Intermatic IG1240RC3: Gray Whole Home Surge Protection Device - Type-1 or 2 by David Sanchez

I have a generator whose voltage regulator has failed. Feeding dual voltage into my house and roasting some separate surge protectors (although thankfully they protected items connected to them) - thought I had a fire, very worrying! Bought 2 of them; one is installed outside between the generator and the house (if this happens again, no high voltage is allowed into the house); and the other is installed outside when the generator/power company is off for surge protection by the power company. Finally some rest. I still use separate surge suppressors in my most prized devices etc to protect them from possible surges inside, but feel much better with two outside. My son is an electrician and installed about 10 minutes each with no problems. The LED display is very bright and easily visible from a distance even in daylight.
