These pants are a snug fit through the leg, so they are probably a "love it" or "hate it" type of fit depending on body shape. I'm usually in between a 12 and 14, and got a size 14 which fit me well (I'm 5'7" and 175lb). The overall look was very flattering. Beware that they do get pretty wrinkly in the dryer, but running them on a quick wrinkle release cycle helped, and now I tend to air dry them after washing. The waistband is comfortable, and the fabric was thick enough that I didn't have any issues with panty lines. They hit me around the ankles, so they might run a bit short for ladies on the very tall side. Overall though I'm very happy with the pants!
