Diabetics and Wounds

I have diabetes, diagnosed in May 2018 scares us with memories. In ICU for # days then three days in ICU so I'm very aware of my body now. There were open sores on the fingertips, they tried antibiotics but to no avail, it only got worse. Researched diabetic wound care and found this.
