squeegee works in 1 or 2 strokes. I like to use the scraper separately so the length is more manageable. I like that the brush/scraper end rotates so it can be easily stowed behind the car seat. The ends can be a bit tricky to attach and reattach. It seems that the plastic doesn't want to close completely. Since I use the parts individually, this is not a problem for me, but I would not recommend splitting them completely very often. The plastic will most likely break.
