Broke after 6 weeks
When we put this footrest on it looked fine but it broke after a few weeks when the bike fell off. Because it's mounted on the outside of the frame, I think it can take the brunt of the impact if the bike falls. Compared to a traditional footpeg position likely to avoid direct impact. Because or not, we've had four kids and a lot of bikes and roller coasters, including some made of plastic, over the years, and none of them have broken like this one.
